Marina Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marina Service Technician to join our team in Westerly, RI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of marine vessels and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boats, engines, and marina equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and provide effective solutions. Assist with launching, hauling, and winterizing boats as needed. Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Collaborate with marina staff and customers to provide excellent service and support. Operate marina equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and trailers safely and efficiently. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in marine mechanics preferred. Proven experience in marine service, repair, or related mechanical work. Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate marina equipment. Strong communication and customer service skills. This position involves working in a marina setting with exposure to outdoor elements, including water, weather, and marine equipment.
