Job Summary:
We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales / Account Manager to expand our presence in the heavy-duty diesel truck market. This is a field-based role where you’ll build strong partnerships with fleet managers, owner-operators, and service teams—delivering parts and service solutions that keep their trucks on the road and their operations running efficiently.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS –
Function and Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow a territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Build long-term relationships with fleets, repair shops, and owner-operators
- Assess customer needs and recommend diesel truck parts, maintenance, and repair solutions
- Promote our full range of parts inventory and service capabilities to drive revenue growth
- Manage your sales pipeline, including quotes, follow-ups, and closing opportunities
- Stay current on diesel industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor offerings
- Partner with internal parts and service teams to ensure fast, accurate, and reliable customer support
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with diesel truck parts and service is a strong plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of customer engagement
- Proven ability to establish credibility and build strong, lasting customer relationships
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful sales strategies
- Familiarity with trucking terminology and industry-specific language
- Strong customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Prior experience in outside sales, account management, or the diesel/heavy-duty truck industry preferred
