We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in San Tan Valley, AZ. We are currently hiring for full-time hours for a case in San Tan Valley. We care offering up to 50 hours a week! This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. This is a great opportunity to earn a supplemental income! Successful hires earn a bonus of $1000 after 90 days of employment! Offers are contingent upon passing a background check. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care within the patient's home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care. Appropriately reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN/the care team and documents pertinent information. Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake. Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients/clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees. Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies. Completes yearly education hours. Minimum Qualifications Current CPR certification CNA Certification Current First Aid certification TB test & physical examination Ability to monitor vital signs Good interpersonal skills Caring and compassionate personality Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology 1+year of caregiving experience To provide the exceptional care our patients deserve, we rely on a team of passionate, dedicated professionals.
