Hexcel is currently seeking a **Scientist I**for our **Salt Lake City, UT, USA** location.We are seeking an Analytical Scientist I to support analytical and thermoanalytical testing in a materials laboratory environment. This role will focus on executing established test methods, contributing to method development and optimization, and generating high-quality data to support research, development, and production activities.This position is ideal for an early-career scientist with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, good laboratory practices, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.**Qualifications:** Hands-on laboratory experience with analytical or materials characterization techniques (academic, industrial, or internship experience acceptable).Ability to work independently on routine tasks with minimal supervision. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and laboratory software (e.g., Excel, instrument software).**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience with polymer, composite, or materials analysis.Experience working in an SOP-driven, quality-conscious laboratory environment.
