TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty. Previous Charge RN experience preferred. Experience with EPIC charting system required. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The role involves working primarily with adult and geriatric patient populations. Nurses will care for patients with various conditions, including respiratory issues, general medical-surgical diagnoses, and surgical observation. Responsibility includes managing observation patients, end-of-life care, psychiatric observation, and complications related to diabetes. Nurses must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to a strict policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. Travelers may be required to float across different facilities as needed. The nurse-patient ratio is typically 6:1. Candidates should be familiar with BiPAP/CPAP management and blood product administration. The role also involves interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of telemetry. A strong focus on wound care, IV management, and rapid response situations is essential. Compliance with all necessary requirements prior to the start of the contract is mandatory. All candidates must pass an EKG exam during onboarding with a limit of two attempts. Applicants must be prepared for this requirement, as study materials will not be provided.
