Litigation Associate Attorney for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply your litigation and complex transactional law expertise to help train and improve next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role centers on producing precise, practical legal analysis that helps models reason through sophisticated legal documents, scenarios, and decision-making tasks. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and provide feedback on complex litigation and transactional documents, including contracts involving M&A, private equity, and capital markets.
• Draft sample agreements and legal clauses using experience with high-value M&A transactions and private equity matters.
• Assess legal scenarios and provide structured commentary for AI model development, including data privacy and cross-border transaction topics.
• Work remotely with interdisciplinary teams to provide legal insight and maintain accuracy in simulated legal tasks and scenarios.
• Help develop legal frameworks and decision rubrics.
• Participate in iterative feedback cycles to refine training data for legal precision and practical applicability.

Qualifications

• JD from a U.S. law school and active U.S. bar admission in good standing.
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 or comparably prestigious law firm, with work spanning litigation and complex transactional matters.
• Demonstrated expertise in M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy.
• Excellent written communication skills and an ability to explain sophisticated legal reasoning to varied audiences.
• Proven remote collaboration and multidisciplinary teamwork experience.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills in high-stakes legal contexts.
• Experience developing or applying structured review rubrics is preferred, but not required.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $140 to $400 per hour.
