About This Role The New Grad RN Resident position at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus is ideal for recent nursing graduates seeking to gain experience in a fast‑paced cardiovascular recovery unit. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct nursing care while participating in a residency core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs. Highlights Pay : $35.50 - $55.60/hour Location : Cleveland, OH Facility : Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Department/Unit : Cardiovascular Short Stay/PACU/CARU Schedule : Full-time, Day/Night shift What You'll Do Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs. Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, patient preference, and resource availability. Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent risk. Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document in patients’ medical records. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) Experience New grad or less than one year RN work experience, or if experienced, moving from non‑inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required if in a Critical Care area, to be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment #J-18808-Ljbffr
