The Norfolk Companies is seeking a Carpenter I to join our building materials and services team in Dorchester, MA. In this entry-level role, you’ll support residential and light commercial projects for homeowners and contractors across New England. Responsibilities include assisting with framing, trim, and finish work; reading basic plans; measuring, cutting, and installing lumber and related materials; and operating hand and power tools safely. You’ll work closely with experienced carpenters in a collaborative, family-founded environment that values craftsmanship, reliability, and customer service. This position offers hands-on training, exposure to multiple Norfolk divisions, and opportunities to grow your skills and advance within a stable, long-standing local company committed to quality work and long-term relationships.
