Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare patients and ensure a safe operative experience.
  
  
• 
  Scrub and assist during various surgical procedures, including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile techniques and proper documentation using the Cerner system.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and respond to emergencies promptly.
  
  
• 
  Follow hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
  
  
• 
  Adapt to variable scheduling, including call shifts, and float to other departments as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with current licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate broad surgical knowledge with experience in multiple service lines.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent operating room experience.
  
  
• 
  Be proficient in perioperative procedures and documentation systems.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  
  
• 
  Capable of managing multiple high-stakes tasks in a fast-paced environment.
