Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include: Consulting with patients to gather detailed information about their physical condition, medical history, and presenting symptoms. Diagnosing movement dysfunctions through comprehensive evaluations and developing targeted treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Instructing patients on the correct use of therapeutic exercise techniques to facilitate recovery. Providing manual therapies such as stimulation or massage to encourage healing and improve mobility. Educating patients on the proper use of necessary equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring safe mobility. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and tracking their progress towards established therapeutic goals. Coaching patients and their families on in-home treatment strategies and exercises that can maintain and enhance recovery post-clinic visits. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice serves a wide-ranging clientele, including children recovering from sports injuries, adults undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation, and seniors seeking to improve their mobility and functional independence. Your role will significantly impact their recovery journeys and overall health, improving their physical capabilities and addressing their individual needs. Qualifications To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will possess: A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice within New Jersey. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey concepts to diverse patient populations. Strong organizational skills, including proficiency in maintaining detailed patient records and using electronic health systems. A flexible and adaptive approach to patient care, responding effectively to the needs of individuals in various settings. Preferred Experience While we invite applicants with 2 years of relevant clinical experience, we are also open to newly graduated physical therapists who demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in practice. Showing eagerness to engage in mentorship opportunities and pursue continuing education credits will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise.
