IT Program Manager - Workday ERP Test Lead

Location: 100% remote role

Job Type: Full-Time/Contract -To-Hire roles

Responsibilities include:

1. This position will be responsible for all testing of Workday ERP. Responsible for managing the relationship with customer's automated test vendor (Kainos).
2. Manage all user story test scenarios.
3. Partner with Product manager to complete unit testing for Workday changes during bi-annual release, as well as regular enhancement/defect resolution releases.
4. Coordinate scheduling of testers.
5. Collaborate with the testing team to document and curate a plan to address defects.

Job Summary:

• The IT Program Manager is a critical role within the IT PMO. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of their assigned Program(s) which will consist of multiple (often 10 or more) related IT projects. The Program Manager will work with Business Relationship Managers ("BRMs") leads and Project Managers to drive component project intake as well as program delivery. To support these activities, will work closely with employees and contractors to ensure quality completion of business requirements, scope, end user impact, Program dependencies, financials, and transition to operations activities for the Service Line. A critical element of the Program Manager role will be to coach Project Managers in Project Delivery excellence. May lead a team of Project Managers (may be internal FTE or purchased labor PM staff). Provides advice, counsel, and insight to PMs on how to lead projects more effectively to completion. Serve as a champion, advocate for the IT PM Methodology, and assist teams with adoption.
