Digital Print Production OperatorBenefits:Flexible scheduleOpportunity for advancementPaid time offTraining & developmentAs a Digital Print Production Operator, you will be responsible for job setup and printing using our Xerox cut-sheet digital printers. You will be in charge of calibrating printers and color-matching projects against our client's Pantone colors / previous jobs. You will also manage the service and maintenance of the machines as needed.This is an excellent position for someone interested in entering the industry and building a lasting career. You will also be trained to assist our large format department in printing, production, and installation projects. Primary examples of projects that need assistance are vehicle graphics and wall mural projects that require a second installer. The primary responsibility of the Digital Print Production Operator is to operate and complete all digital printing (B&W/Color) production for maximum production efficiency.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive CompensationFlexible SchedulingFulfilling work, collaboration, humanity, fun, and laughterCareer path development8-hour shifts - Monday to FridayDigital Print Production Operator Role Responsibilities:Responsible for operating Xerox digital commercial printers using Fiery Command WorkstationAssisting in our large format department with installations & production work when availableResponsible for imposing files for print & running AlphaGraphics softwareWorks with Production Scheduler to prioritize and manage daily job productionProduces orders accurately, efficiently, and quickly while maintaining the highest quality standardsUpdates job status and location in MIS systemAlways runs a proof copy and compares it to the work orderControls waste and redos by quality-checking jobs as they are being producedCompletes Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobsTracks waste, spoilage, usage, and inventory for all digital printing machinesMaintains a clean and organized work environmentEnsures that all service "clicks" are credited by the service technician in each call, including credit for poor-quality copiesOther duties as assignedDigital Print Production Operator Qualifications:Digital printing/ Graphics designing experience is preferred but not required.Ability to multi-task and organize several activities and tasks concurrently.Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, if needed.Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment.Can perform basic bindery functions.Graphic design skills are preferred but not required.Customer service experience is preferred but not required.Compensation: $17.00 per hourAt AlphaGraphics, we offer careers for everyone!
