Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 / Annually

The Senior Total Rewards Specialist is a high-impact role for a highly organized, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in bringing structure, accuracy, and continuous improvement to complex programs. This broad Total Rewards role requires depth where it matters most. Deep expertise in benefits, retirement plan administration, a working knowledge of leave administration, workers' compensation, paid time off, and compensation. This role serves as a trusted resource to leaders and team members across the organization, translating regulatory requirements and business needs into scalable, well-run Total Rewards programs.

As a Senior Total Rewards Specialist, you will:

• Lead benefits and retirement administration for health, welfare, and retirement programs across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, ensuring operational excellence and compliance
• Serve as the subject matter expert for benefits and retirement programs, partnering with brokers, carriers, retirement providers, and third-party administrators to optimize plan performance and resolve complex issues
• Own plan compliance , including ERISA requirements, annual testing, audits, and regulatory filings
• Lead benefit enrollments, communications, and education that enable informed decisions and maximize the value of Total Rewards offerings
• Serve as the liaison for leave of absence, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment programs , ensuring compliance while driving process improvements
• Partner with leaders, HR Business Partners, and external vendors and agencies to resolve complex cases, provide guidance, and lead timely outcomes
• Own and lead paid time off policies and practices
• Support compensation programs through job evaluations, market benchmarking, and data-driven pay recommendations
• Ensure Total Rewards programs remain compliant with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain scalable processes, documentation, and best practices that support the continued growth and maturity of the Total Rewards function

As a Senior Total Rewards Specialist, you have:

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Benefits, Total Rewards, or Human Resources, including demonstrated ownership of benefits and retirement administration and regulatory compliance
• Excel proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, IF statements, TRIM, SUM, pivot tables, charts, and drop-down lists
• Analytical skills: Strong ability to organize and interpret data, develop recommendations, and prepare leader-ready reports and communications
• Technology: Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration platforms
• Multi- state/multinational experience: Experience supporting a multi-state and/or multinational workforce
• Regulatory knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the regulatory framework governing employee benefits and Total Rewards, including HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and applicable Department of Labor and IRS regulations
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Preferred:

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or CEBS certification
• Experience with ADP
• Exposure to Canadian benefits or global Total Rewards programs
