Korpack runs fast, and we're looking for a leader who runs faster — someone who owns outcomes, thrives under real deadlines, and takes personal pride in a plant that runs clean, efficient, and profitable. The mission of this role is to own production across both of our facilities — Bloomingdale and St. Charles, fifteen minutes apart — and to run them as one connected manufacturing operation. You will own the P&L of our co-packing division: the cost, the efficiency, the waste, and the margin. Responsibilities - What You'll Own Production P&L (Co-Packing Division): Own the profitability of the co-pack operation end to end — cost per unit, labor efficiency, material yield, and margin. You are accountable for the number, not just the output. Multi‑Site Production Leadership: Lead production across Bloomingdale and St. Charles as a single system. Set one standard, hold both plants to it, and keep the two sites moving in lockstep — including the flow of product between them. Leadership & Accountability (LMA): Lead, manage, and hold production leadership and supervisors accountable across all shifts. Build a high-performance, collaborative team that delivers results and lives Korpack's mission. Waste & Cost Reduction: Attack waste relentlessly — scrap over standard, over-runs, downtime, changeover loss, and labor inefficiency. Treat every point of margin as yours to protect and grow. Data-Driven Performance Management: Run the operation on data, not instinct. Use Power BI (or comparable analytics) to manage OEE, run rates, scrap, and variance to standard. Turn production data into decisions and hold the floor to measurable targets. Production Data Integrity: Ensure production transactions are entered accurately and on time in our ERP (Acumatica Manufacturing Edition) — material issues, completions, returns, and scrap. Accurate data is the foundation of everything above; you own that it's right. Continuous Improvement: Embed CI into daily operations, not as a side project. Requalify production standards against real demonstrated run data, then drive performance against a standard you can defend. Quality, Food Safety & Traceability: Ensure strict adherence to SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards, and protect one-to-one lot traceability from inbound material to finished goods. In a food operation, this is non-negotiable and comes before any cost or throughput target. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (equivalent operational experience considered). Required Skills - What You Bring Proven experience leading production/manufacturing operations, ideally across multiple sites or a high-mix, high-volume environment. A track record of reducing operational cost and improving efficiency — with real numbers you can speak to. Genuine P&L ownership or direct accountability for production cost and margin. Strong data and analytics fluency — Power BI or a comparable BI/analytics tool used to manage overall effectiveness (OEE, variance, yield). Hands‑on experience with an ERP/MRP system (Acumatica a plus) and a real appreciation for transaction accuracy. Demonstrated experience implementing or improving MRP and/or production scheduling software — you’ve helped stand up, configure, or meaningfully upgrade a system, not just operated within one. A continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma orientation (formal certification a plus). Food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing / co-packing experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership presence and the ability to hold a team accountable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Experience in a high-mix, high-volume environment. Preferred Skills SQL, Python, PowerQuery, VBA Pay range and compensation package Base salary: $165,000 – $185,000, commensurate with experience and multi-site track record. Performance bonus of 25% tied to production profitability, efficiency, and waste‑reduction targets — with quality, food safety, and traceability performance as a required condition of payout.
