Upfront Review Clerk
The quality review of all pertinent customer information for accuracy and completeness in order to meet payer requirements for timely and maximum reimbursement.
Attends work on a regular and predictable basis.
Review of all pertinent customer information for accuracy and completeness in order to meet payer requirements.
Evaluate all documents to ensure that appropriate information has been obtained to allow for successful Accounts Receivable.
Communicate between team members and Centers to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
Maintain Held Sales by assisting customer service representatives weekly to ensure accuracy of information.
Responsible for reviewing various reports for quality assurance.
Record all activity relating to account in tickler files.
Work closely with Patient Account Coordinators (Client).
This position may be subject to overtime at managers discretion.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Past performance shows solid evidence of insurance qualifications and guidelines.
Knowledge of telephone etiquette and adequate oral and written communication skills.
Shows effective multi-tasking skills.
Basic computer skills.
Positive and cooperative attitude in working and communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of the medical field preferred.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
