Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Floor RN located in Boise, Idaho. This position involves providing patient care within the medical-surgical specialty, including float pool coverage across multiple units in the region. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical specialty and previous travel experience; current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; experience or skills in titrating drips, managing common diagnoses, and working with tele monitors.


• Preferred Qualifications: Antepartum and mother-baby experience for Labor & Delivery (L&D) travelers.


• Float: Float rotation may be required, as RNs will float within their specialty to facilities in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa. Float pool leaders and assistant managers are on-call 24/7 to support staff.


• Additional Information: Assignments are scheduled via an app, with unit and hospital details provided 1 hour prior to shift. No self-scheduling allowed; shifts are block scheduled. Orientation includes meet-and-greet and three inpatient orientation shifts. Most facilities offer easy access and parking; Meridian is centrally located. Cancellation policy allows up to four cancellations per contract with full shift hours paid if canceled.
