Nurse Supervisor - Behavioral Health

Credentials: Active California RN or LVN license required. Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA. A residential behavioral health program is seeking an experienced Nurse to oversee regional nursing operations and support high-quality patient care. This position works closely with clinical and operations leadership to ensure compliance, staff development, and day-to-day nursing functions within a mental health treatment setting. Responsibilities:
Compensation: $72,000 - $84,000 annually. Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm. Exempt on-call responsibilities as needed. Benefits: Standard.
- Supervise and support nursing staff across multiple residential programs
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical operations
- Ensure medication management, documentation, and compliance standards are maintained
- Partner with clinical and medical teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing staff development
- Provide on-call support for nursing and medical teams as needed
- Serve as a resource for nursing and medical staff as needed
- Must be RN or LVN active in the State of California.
- Minimum 3 years of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of medication management, clinical operations, and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
