Account Executive – Commercial Pest Management

The primary purpose of this role is to sell Rentokil’s Commercial Pest Management Services and Products to new and existing commercial customers while maintaining a customer‑focused service that grows the business. The position requires a strong hunter mentality, autonomous work style, and the ability to travel extensively within assigned territories.

Responsibilities

• Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, lead generation, and cross‑selling.
• Visually inspect buildings for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries.
• Assess findings and sell pest control and preventative maintenance solutions to commercial customers.
• Develop territory strategies that exceed sales targets.
• Maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil’s programs, protocols, pricing policies, and service offerings.
• Build partnerships and collaborate with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and ensure delivery of outstanding service solutions.
• Complete daily activities and sales performance metrics using the company sales CRM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Two or more years of B2B sales experience preferred; prior prospecting skills (cold calling, lead generation, networking) a significant advantage.
• Self‑motivated with a hunter’s mentality and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to obtain any required industry licenses (provided and paid for by the company).
• Ability to travel up to 100% within assigned territory.

Physical Demands

• Move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently.
• Regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; maintain balance on narrow or slippery surfaces.
• Operate motor vehicles and keep all equipment clean.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator when required, and work in confined spaces or small areas as necessary.

Compensation

Base Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year. Total earnings may be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
