Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid Registered Nurse license Certifications: RCIS certification preferred Must-Have: - RCIS certification with at least 1 year of experience - Willingness to take call Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit has a 9-bed pre and post area and one cath lab. Daily staffing consists of 5 to 6 staff members. Typically, there are 3 staff members assigned for elective cases. Equipment used includes a Mac Lab and Philips C arm. The electronic medical record system is CPOE. Typical procedures performed include heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions. Scrubs are provided by the hospital.
