Details Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit of a hospital setting Day shift schedule Uses EPIC EMR Requirements Active NY RN license required at time of consideration BLS certification from AHA or RQI required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro ICU/SICU specialty EPIC EMR experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass Additional Information Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible if located in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties Flu vaccine exemptions are only accepted with medical documentation signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious declinations are not accepted More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out Blocked scheduling is not permitted RTO must be requested at the time of consideration Travel pairs are not permitted for this position American Traveler Job ID P-734108.
