Senior Manager, Project Controls - Global Engineering and Project Delivery

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Manager for Project Controls to oversee cost management, risk oversight, and governance across a portfolio of pharmaceutical capital projects. The role involves leading a controls team, managing budgets and forecasts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting data-driven capital allocation decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise capital portfolio reporting and analytics for data-driven allocation decisions
• Lead project controls team including cost engineers, risk analysts, and controls analysts
• Establish and oversee project risk management process including identification, quantification, and mitigation
• Manage cost baselines, forecasting, earned value management, and change control across capital projects
• Produce reporting packages and escalate risks to leadership for site and executive stakeholders

Requirements

• 8–12+ years project controls experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and capital governance frameworks (stage-gate, CAR/AFE processes)
• Proficiency with cost management and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
• PMP, AACE (CCP/EVP/RMP), or similar certification preferred
• Experience with quantitative risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulation a plus
• Team leadership experience managing project controls professionals

Compensation: $130,300 - $157,889 base
