Job Summary:
At Serenity Estates of Morris, we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Restorative Aide to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, focusing on rehabilitation, recovery, and overall wellness. Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
Provide emotional support and engagement to residents, promoting their mental and emotional well-being
Assist with rehabilitation programs, including range-of-motion exercises, transfers, and ambulation
Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior to licensed nursing staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and facility policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of restorative care principles and practices
