Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Weekend rotation required | Every other holiday | Standby call as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across all acuity types, including ICU and PCU patients, within appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
• Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms in accordance with unit standards
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Participate in weekend rotation and every-other-holiday scheduling
• Respond to standby call requirements as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient RN experience in Med/Surg and PCU within the last 3 years
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start (two attempts permitted; passing score of 80% or higher required, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms on the adult exam)
• First-time travelers must have more than 5 years of experience as an RN
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for mixed-acuity patient populations including ICU and step-down/PCU patients
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills across both adult and pediatric populations
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
