Marketing Specialist

PeriGen is a leading innovator in perinatal software solutions. Our team of visionary clinicians and software developers use artificial intelligence to harness complicated data for a simple mission – protecting moms and babies. The company is headquartered in Cary, NC, with offices in Montreal and Tel Aviv.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for managing and optimizing marketing programs across digital, email, social media, webinar, event, and content channels, while also managing the day-to-day coordination, logistics, and administrative functions that support the successful execution of marketing initiatives. This role will be located in our US headquarters office in Cary, NC.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with and assist the Marketing Manager to execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, webinars, digital platforms, industry events, and other customer engagement channels.
• Support the day-to-day operational needs of the marketing department, balancing strategic marketing execution with the administrative, logistical, and organizational responsibilities required to keep programs running smoothly.
• Coordinate the logistics, inventory management, and fulfillment of all marketing materials to ensure all tradeshows, go-lives, and customer-facing programs are supported with the necessary assets and collateral.
• Support Commercial demand generation initiatives designed to increase awareness, engagement, and qualified lead generation.
• Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and execution milestones to ensure programs launch successfully and on schedule.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to support lead generation and commercial growth objectives.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness, audience engagement, and marketing performance.
• Own day-to-day execution of email marketing programs and marketing automation activities.
• Build, test, deploy, and optimize email communications including newsletters, promotional campaigns, customer outreach, and webinar and event communications.
• Manage audience segmentation, distribution lists, and campaign targeting strategies.
• Maintain marketing database integrity and Dynamics CRM data quality.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to Marketing and Sales Leadership for continual optimization.
• Manage PeriGen's social media presence across approved platforms.
• Develop, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content aligned with company messaging and business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to develop engaging and educational content.
• Manage editorial calendars and coordinate content distribution across channels.
• Track engagement metrics and provide regular reporting on audience growth, engagement, and campaign performance.
• Stay current on marketing platform enhancements and digital marketing best practices.
• Support marketing execution for tradeshows, customer events, company meetings, webinars, and educational programs.
• Serve as project manager for assigned events and coordinate all logistics and deliverables including planning, scheduling, budget tracking, material fulfillment, shipping, attendee communications, vendor coordination, and occasional on-site event support.
• Partner with internal teams to maximize attendee engagement and lead generation opportunities.
• Track event performance metrics and assist with post-event analysis and reporting.
• Support development of marketing collateral, digital assets, educational materials, presentations, customer communications, and promotional content.
• Assist in content creation supporting product launches, campaigns, conferences, customer testimonies, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Coordinate review and approval workflows for customer-facing materials as needed through the company's regulated document control processes.
• Track and analyze performance metrics across website traffic, social media, campaigns, tradeshows, and email outreach.
• Assist in preparing regular reports for Commercial leadership highlighting campaign effectiveness, engagement trends, lead generation results, and marketing insights.
• Support measurement of marketing program outcomes and contribution to commercial objectives.
• Partner with Sales, Clinical, Product Management, Key Accounts, and Perigen Board of Directors to support organizational objectives.
• Assist with company-wide branding initiatives and marketing communications programs.
• Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with employees, clients, and all community and business contacts.
• Communicate in a clear and concise manner. Ability to collaborate with others.
• Utilize time management and problem-solving skills to efficiently perform job duties.
• Maintain an acceptable and professional personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of private business matters and HIPAA-protected information.
• Complete other duties as assigned, to meet ongoing needs of the company.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as business needs require.

We’re looking for a collaborative professional with:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or related disciplines.
• Experience within healthcare technology, healthcare IT, software, or medical device industries preferred.
• Experience with social media platforms, email marketing programs, and digital marketing campaigns preferred.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing communications.
• Thorough working knowledge of marketing automation software such as HubSpot, Marketo, etc. Experience with ClickDimensions a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred;
  willingness to become expert is a requirement.
• Experience managing social media channels and developing engaging digital content.
• Experience utilizing marketing analytics and reporting tools to measure performance and support data-driven decision-making.
• Working knowledge of content marketing principles and marketing communications best practices.
• Demonstrated project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to self-start and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Social media management and content development.
• Proficiency with ChatGTP, Copilot, Gemini, Claude and other industry standard general-purpose Chatbots.
• Ability to lift and move and ship marketing and event materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to assist with setup and management of conference and event materials.
