ML & AI Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $175,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong background administering high-performance computing environments
• Experience operating AI cluster infrastructure and day-to-day platform support
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration in on-premises settings
• Experience provisioning and managing PV/PVC storage with Kubernetes CSI drivers
• Solid Linux administration skills, especially with Ubuntu
• Scripting ability in Bash and/or Python
• Proven track record in troubleshooting and operational support
• Ability to maintain and support production infrastructure environments
• Experience with one or more storage or file system technologies such as Dell PowerScale/Isilon, VAST Storage, NetApp ONTAP, DDN IntelliFlash, DDN Exascaler, or Lustre parallel file systems
• Preferred background in NVIDIA technologies, including NVIDIA Base Command Manager, Bright Cluster Manager, MLOps platforms, container orchestration, high-performance networking, RDMA, InfiniBand, NVIDIA UFM, or parallel file system administration

• We administer and support AI and HPC cluster environments
• We manage the daily operations of large-scale compute infrastructure
• We deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based platforms
• We ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across compute, storage, and networking systems
• We support AI model training and inference infrastructure
• We automate operational workflows through scripting and tooling
• We partner with engineering teams and customers to improve platform performance
• We troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, storage, and containerized environments

We are hiring a Machine Learning & AI Infrastructure Engineer in Austin, TX for a 100% remote opportunity. This role combines HPC administration, Kubernetes administration, and AI infrastructure operations, with a strong emphasis on hands-on production support rather than architecture-only work.
