Medical Receptionist- Bilingual (English/ Spanish/ Portuguese)- Experience Preferred- Hackettstown NJ

Responsibilities:Greet patients in person or via telephone; provide information and answer basic questionsSchedule and confirm patient appointmentsVerify patient insurance information and manage patient check-ins and check-outsCollect and process patient payments and co-paysMaintain and update patient records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemHandle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondenceCoordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communicationAssist with patient referrals and authorizations as neededEnsure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcomingPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:Fluency in English, Spanish or PortugueseAbility and willingness to work at least one Saturday each monthProficiency in basic medical terminologyExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentialityStrong customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanorExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentPrevious experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar roleBasic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
