WEL Companies is looking for professional CDL-A Independent Contractors who want the freedom of business ownership while partnering with a carrier that provides consistent refrigerated freight, competitive revenue sharing, and the support needed to maximize profitability.

Our Independent Contractor program is designed for owner-operators who value independence and want access to dependable freight, strong customer relationships, and one of the industry's most respected refrigerated transportation networks.

Revenue & Compensation

As a WEL Independent Contractor, you'll earn:

70% of linehaul revenue
86% of the fuel surcharge (FSC)
70% of detention pay
Consistent refrigerated freight
Weekly settlements

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Owner-operator or qualified Independent Contractor
Ability to operate under WEL's Independent Contractor agreement
Professional attitude and commitment to customer service
Safe driving record
Willingness to accept agreed-upon dispatch and freight commitments
