Real Estate Associate Attorney

Real Estate Associate AttorneyMandelbaum Barrett PC is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our Roseland, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and commercial lending matters. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and business owners in a broad range of commercial real estate and related business transactions. Experience with zoning, land use, title, due diligence, and deal structuring matters is a plus.Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, financing agreements, and development-related contracts.Represent lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions, including acquisition, construction, bridge, and permanent financing matters.Conduct due diligence, review title and survey materials, and assist with transaction structuring.Manage commercial real estate closings from inception through post-closing.Advise clients on zoning, land use, permitting, title, and regulatory matters.Assist with business and transactional matters related to real estate ownership, development, and investment activities.Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on complex commercial transactions.Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey Bar required; New York Bar admission is a plus.5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including commercial lending and financing matters.Experience representing lenders, financial institutions, borrowers, developers, and investors is preferred.Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to independently manage multiple transactions and deadlines.Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.Compensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $170,000–$225,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
