Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of students with special requirements.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to address each child's unique mental health challenges and ensure their successful integration into the educational environment.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed specifically for ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional regulation, personal growth, and effective coping strategies for students.

• Collaborate closely with teachers and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care and support, ensuring consistency in approaches across disciplines.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, maintaining a calm and effective presence in high-stress situations.

• Engage in psychoeducation efforts, equipping students and their families with knowledge about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid LCSW licensure in the state of Connecticut.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
