Cook Team Member at MOKAS Coffee & Eatery works in a fast‑paced environment creating high‑quality food and drink for guests. Responsibilities include preparing meals, brewing coffee, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Duties & Responsibilities Hospitality focused, preparing and delivering food and drinks to guests that meets or exceeds guest expectations with a sense of urgency. Prepares food and drinks with quality, taking his/her craft seriously, ensuring the presentation meets MOKAS standards and is an item the team can be proud of. Takes pride in all aspects of their work, whether making sandwiches, brewing coffees, accomplishing other tasks and/or focusing on cleanliness. Attentive in the Restaurant, sensing customer needs and keeping their manager and fellow team members informed on an ongoing basis. A collaborative team member, always willing to play a role in making the work environment a warm and welcoming place. Successful team members consistently demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service, dependability, attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork. Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility during the work shift, have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel. Have the ability to lift and move items frequently weighing up to 30 pounds. Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills are required.
