What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the financial operations of a manufacturing facility, supporting plant leadership with financial insights and data to drive business decisions.
• Prepare and oversee month-end closing, financial reporting, financial forecasts, and consolidations .
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements .
• Partner with manufacturing leadership to monitor inventory levels, production costs, CAPEX, raw materials, tools, and other facility assets .
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to help identify cost-reduction opportunities, minimize risk, and improve overall financial performance.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process and provide financial insights to support strategic planning.
• Ensure financial reporting meets corporate and division requirements while maintaining strong accounting controls and compliance.
• Oversee and analyze financial transactions and accounting activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and support compliance with applicable accounting and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with executive and operational decision makers to evaluate financial performance, identify opportunities, and support business growth.
• Manage, train, and evaluate accounting staff while providing leadership and direction to the finance team.
• Partner closely with the corporate finance organization and international headquarters to ensure alignment with financial reporting and accounting requirements.
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of physical inventory and financial records related to manufacturing operations.
• Utilize Excel and ERP systems to analyze financial data, create reports, and support day-to-day financial decision making.

What We Need From You

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with financial reporting , including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis .
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial controls.
• Experience working with inventory, production costs, CAPEX, and other manufacturing financial activities .
• Experience working with an ERP system and accounting software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a complex manufacturing environment.

All-Star Skillset

The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:

• Manufacturing experience within the automotive, electrical, power, energy, battery, or industrial industries.
• Experience working with battery manufacturing or energy-related products .
• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with QAD or similar manufacturing ERP systems.
• Multi-site manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with international or global finance teams.
• Experience supporting a facility through growth, modernization, or process improvement initiatives .
• Experience working closely with executive leadership and manufacturing operations.
