With a commitment to providing exceptional care and a compassionate environment, Garden Springs proudly manages 5 outstanding facilities across Ohio.We are seeking an experienced Mobile Director of Nursing (RN) to provide executive nursing leadership across our growing network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout Ohio. As our Mobile DON, you will serve as the acting Director of Nursing at facilities during leadership transitions, vacancies, leaves of absence, or other operational needs, ensuring exceptional clinical outcomes and continuity of resident care.Responsibilities:As the Mobile Director of Nursing, you will assume full responsibility for all nursing operations at your assigned facility, including:Providing day-to-day leadership of the Nursing DepartmentEnsuring compliance with CMS, Ohio Department of Health, and company standardsMaintaining survey readiness and leading facilities through state and federal surveysOverseeing staffing, scheduling, and labor managementLeading Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiativesMentoring and developing nurse managers, supervisors, and clinical staffMonitoring clinical outcomes and implementing performance improvement strategiesCollaborating with facility administrators, physicians, and interdisciplinary teamsAssisting with recruitment, onboarding, and transition of newly hired Directors of NursingIdentifying operational opportunities and implementing corrective action plansEnsuring outstanding resident care and customer service throughout each assignmentRequirements:• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing• Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience• At least 2 years as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility• Extensive knowledge of CMS Regulations, Ohio Department of Health requirements, QAPI, Infection Prevention, and Long-Term Care Survey Process• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills• Ability to quickly assess operations and lead teams through changeTravel Requirements:• Be willing to travel throughout Ohio• Stay overnight when business needs require• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation• Be available for occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support• Travel expenses are reimbursed in accordance with company policy.Why Join Garden Springs Healthcare?At Garden Springs Healthcare, we believe strong clinical leadership changes lives.
