Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician – Sequist Animal Hospital Working hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a four‑day work week and no weekends or late‑night shifts. Pay Range Rate based on experience and certifications, ranging from $18.00 to $27.00 per hour. Sign‑On Bonus for Surgical Experience $1,000. Core Responsibilities and Skills Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Understand medical terminology and products. Provide safe, fear‑free animal restraint and handling. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Run lab diagnostics. Perform radiology techniques, including dental imaging. Conduct phlebotomy, catheter placement, and anesthetic monitoring (pre‑ and post‑operative). Maintain safe sterilization of the hospital and equipment.
