Assistant Athletic Trainer - Full Time

JOB LOCATION:___ Fully Remote___ Hybrid (Some remote work some on campus work)_x__ On CampusJOB SUMMARYThe full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer will maintain and coordinate a comprehensive sports medicine program for Spalding University athletics under the leadership of the Head Athletic Trainer.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform professional and administrative services essential for the success of the program under the supervision of the Head Athletic TrainerDuties will include injury prevention, emergency care, first aid and physical rehabilitation of injuries incurred by Spalding University's intercollegiate athletesWill organize and conduct medically prescribed sports rehabilitation and conditioning programs following an injury and be responsible for appropriate organization and implementation of athletic insurance claim paperwork and follow-up as necessaryAlso supervise and participate in the teaching of graduate athletic training students enrolled in an innovative, new entry-level Master of Science Degree Program in Athletic Training.
