HVAC Service Technician

What We are Looking for: We are currently hiring an EXPERIENCED residential HVAC Service Technician that has at least 2 full years of residential HVAC service experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of residential service processes including sales and customer service. Job Title: Service Technician – Residential Work Hours: Monday through Friday 40+ hours per week Overtime available Once a month on‑call rotation, dispatched from home Pay Range: $70,000 - $150,000 per year. Tool Leasing Program We are a Lennox Premier Dealer and Lennox Award Winner Dealer training with Lennox, NCI, ACCA, and many more Certifications such as NATE, HVAC Excellence, NCI offered What Your Day Looks Like: This position performs service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in a residential setting. Determines general condition of HVAC systems, and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairs. Educate customers on their systems and maintenance requirements. Makes written recommendations to improve customers system. Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job. Providing excellent customer service. Conveys a safety‑conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving. Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside. Qualifications / Skills: Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. 2+ years of experience in HVAC service minimum. 4+ years preferred. Universal EPA Certified. Proficient understanding of refrigerant, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation/repair of all residential and light commercial systems. Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings. Ability to consult on customer complaints and make repair and replacement decisions. Understand and apply all codes for residential and light commercial. Ability to handle system startup and adjustments. Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a condition offer of employment. Previous experience with Service Titan software is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
