Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $33.37 - $45.05 / hour

Summary

The Team Lead Healthy Start provides support to staff to promote quality care in a professionally supportive environment on a continuous basis. Serves as an active member of the interdisciplinary team. Facilitates appropriate client scheduling based on the clinical need and expedites flow of patients within the department and is available to all staff as a resource.

Facilitates effective communication with administration, clients, and staff and allocates resources to promote efficient, effective, and compassionate patient care. Ensures appropriate staffing and monitors staff. Oversees staff clinical performance and contributes to performance evaluations. Contributes to the delivery of quality care through excellence in customer service, and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.

Monitors and audits compliance with regulatory standards. Assumes manager responsibilities in his/her absence. Participates on committees, task forces and/or activities as assigned. Collaborates with other professionals to ensure an effective and efficient care delivery system and the achievement of programmatic outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Supports the decisions of the leadership and hospital administration.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in social sciences including social work, health education, health planning, or health care administration, or graduate of an accredited school of nursing Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters degree in nursing (MSN) preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years maternal health/related field experience preferred.

License: Currently Licensed RN in the State of Florida if BSN degree.

Certification: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Other: Strong interpersonal/communication skills and organized work habit required. Must possess the ability to effectively negotiate computerized documentation.
