Business Development Executive (REMOTE)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Business Development Executive for remote work on the West Coast to drive sales growth across pharmaceutical services accounts. The role involves developing territory and account plans, managing customer relationships, and supporting drug development services across multiple modalities including biologics, cell therapy, and viral vectors.

Responsibilities Drive profitable growth and achieve annual operating plan sales targets for assigned territory Secure new molecules, service expansions, and increase wallet share with existing biotech accounts Develop and execute territory and account plans through full sales cycle from outreach to contract closure Build and maintain actionable pipelines while managing forecasting and CRM discipline Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and customer stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions Requirements Bachelor's degree in life sciences 5-8 years quota-carrying field sales or business development experience Proven deal design and relationship management experience Experience in CDMO sales or with drug modalities (steriles, solid dosage, biologics, cell therapy, viral vector, API) Ability to manage opportunities and relationships in matrix environments Strong consultative selling and customer insight skills Data-driven decision-making with resilience in competitive settings
