Civil Engineer - Jacksonville, Fl (Hybrid Position)

RQ is a privately held, full-service design-build firm, specializing in fast-track commercial construction for the Department of Defense, and offering comprehensive solutions that integrate design, engineering, and construction under one roof.

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Civil Engineer, you'll work on multiple unique projects, ensuring they meet U.S. military design standards. A typical day may include drafting site plans, preparing grading and drainage designs, and collaborating closely with a team of engineers and designers.

Compensation: $110,000–$135,000 annually, depending on experience

Education, experience and skill requirements for this position include:

• A BS degree in Civil Engineering is the minimum formal education required for this position

• Licensed Professional Engineer is required

• A minimum of five (5) years qualifying experience as a civil designer

• Previous experience in the design-build construction industry

• Department of Defense (DoD) experience is preferred.

• Specific software literacy required: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Work and MS Excel

• Travel to jobsites, as needed, is required
