Partnering closely with GCAS leadership and enterprise stakeholders, the team provides end-to-end support across business management, data and reporting, process improvement, learning and development, and enterprise compliance. Its mandate spans strategic planning, governance, financial and resource management, advanced analytics and Power BI reporting, automation, AI innovation, risk and business continuity management, and the design and delivery of scalable training programs. By combining strong analytical capabilities, disciplined governance, and a forward-looking innovation mindset, GCAS Shared Services enables informed decision-making, enhances the client experience, mitigates risk, and ensures GCAS operates efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with enterprise priorities.Role SummaryThe GCAS Shared Services team is seeking a highly analytical professional to support the development and advancement of enterprise reporting and insights across the department. This position focuses on designing, enhancing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data visualizations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and operational teams. Working closely with partners across GCAS and adjacent functions, the role will help define meaningful KPIs, standardize metrics, and ensure consistent, trusted reporting that supports business performance and strategic decision-making. In addition to meeting current reporting needs, this role is expected to maintain an active interest in evolving analytics and automation capabilities—including practical applications of AI—and partner with business teams to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and strengthen day-to-day operations through thoughtful application of these tools.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with peers in the business on various defined and ad hoc data and reporting requests. Ensures deliverables are completed in a timely manner that meets the business needs with a mindset to minimize redundancy and improve efficiency.Integrates data across various data sources and data warehouses or databases. Reviews and interprets data for consistency, accuracy, trends, and leading indicators. Summarizes findings and data protection/privacy issues for review with more experienced professionals and management.Conducts processes for the creation, consumption, assimilation, and/or destruction of data. Ensures adherence to quality controls and governance rules. Ensures project specifications are in line with data management standards in terms of data and reporting needs and is accountable for related project goals.Participates in the development and testing of systems. Conducts investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine enhancement feasibility and implications for data accuracy. Compiles reports for review by more senior professionals.Curates data and conducts governance activities, contributing to the development of technical workflows, operational data management reports and metrics, enhancing existing models, and building frameworks and processes. Trains junior professionals and support staff to understand the data.Examines and controls changes in complex data sets. Contributes to the implementation and execution of data quality and maintenance programs in alignment with T. Rowe Price policies and procedures. Adheres to and champions best practices for the business.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND2+ years of total relevant work experiencePreferred:Experience designing and delivering data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or similar toolsWorking knowledge of the full data analytics lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data preparation to analysis, visualization, and deploymentStrong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to interpret trends, identify drivers, and surface meaningful insightsDemonstrated ability to translate data into compelling narratives that support both strategic and tactical decision-makingProven experience partnering with business stakeholders to understand questions, define KPIs, and design reporting solutions that meet operational and leadership needsAbility to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences, including senior managementExperience presenting, visualizing, and tailoring insights for audiences at varying levels of technical expertiseCapability to train and enable business users on self-service reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical solutionsFamiliarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to support reporting, automation, or workflow enhancementInterest in emerging analytics, automation, and AI capabilities, with experience or aptitude for identifying practical use cases to improve business processes and operational efficiencyStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPointAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, managing multiple priorities with minimal directionFINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.Base Salary RangesPlease review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.$77,000.00 - $131,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers$84,500.00 - $144,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.$96,500.00 - $164,000.00 for the location of: New York, CaliforniaPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.
