As part of a large reception team, the Medical Receptionist facilitates efficient patient scheduling, insurance verification, and billing support while providing excellent customer service at the front desk.

 

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
• Verify patient insurance information prior to appointments
• Handle incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries
• Coordinate appointment details among medical staff and patients
• Assist with billing and insurance-related administrative support

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical administration
• High school diploma or equivalent

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with patient scheduling software
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
