Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: ER Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an ER setting License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years experience in an ER setting - EPIC charting experience - BLS certification (AHA only) - ACLS certification (AHA only) - PALS certification (AHA only) - TNCC certification Description: The Emergency Department treats a wide variety of medical complaints and trauma. It has 43 beds and services a significant volume of patients daily. The ED cares for many patients with mental health needs and has a dedicated behavioral health unit. Staff members work closely with law enforcement and behavioral health professionals. Nurses on the team include both new graduates and experienced professionals. A collaborative approach to patient care is emphasized. The work environment fosters strong relationships among departments. The campus is undergoing renovations to enhance service delivery. Mandatory attendance is required for training sessions.
