How You'll Make an Impact in This Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Schedule & Call: Work a Monday through Friday day shift (with flexibility), including weekend calls and potential night calls on rotation to cover the expanding practice needs.
• Practice Setting: A newly created, dynamic hybrid position spanning inpatient rounding and outpatient acute care clinic environments.
• Drive Clinical Excellence: Partner directly with physicians to perform inpatient rounds, managing internal medicine/hospitalist medicine workloads, progressive care patients, and acute care scenarios.
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Practice Provider
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Enhance Patient Access: Conduct outpatient acute care visits at the north clinic, efficiently addressing immediate needs ranging from standard acute issues (colds, sore throats) to filling in for urgent clinical gaps.
• Comprehensive Care Delivery: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, order and interpret vital diagnostic tests, and formulate targeted treatment and management paths.
• Rigorous Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records within the Sunrise and Athena EMR systems in compliance with network standards.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
