Do you have passion for helping others navigate difficult times? We are looking for a compassionate, empathetic, and motivated Peer Support Skills Trainer to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health and/or addictions crises. As a Peer Support Skills Trainer, you will provide hope, encouragement, and practical support to individuals in crisis. You will deliver immediate, on-site assistance in a community based setting. You will teach and reinforce coping skills, recovery strategies, and wellness tools, while collaborating with collaborating with therapists and others on the crisis team. Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) certification or willing to obtain certification. Must have personal, lived experience in their own recovery from addiction, mental illness, or co-occurring substance and mental disorders. Minimum recovery time of 1-2 years Experience working in behavioral health, social work, case management, or related field preferred Must have a valid drivers license Training in crisis intervention preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
