Super Precision Rolling Element Bearing Application SpecialistTechnical knowledge of super precision rolling element bearing application in high speed rotating equipment is required. Specific experience in machine tool service or machining / grinding is highly desired.General Position ResponsibilitiesOversee and direct all functions of service facilitySupervise and mentor Repair Technicians as direct reportsCoordinate with Midwest Service Center to balance workload and direct repairs to the facility that can perform the repair most efficientlySupport Sales with guidance and technical expertise to answer questions and provide cost and schedule estimatesProvide guidance on spindle cause of failure and potential improvementsReview and finalize spindle evaluation reports – Determine repair costs of both purchased components and repair labor to formulate quotesSchedule and assign spindle repairs to Repair Technicians in keeping with their experience and proficiencyReview and evaluate Final Repair Reports and spindle repairs to ensure that all was completed to standards and spindle will perform for the customerQualificationsStrong ethical / moral character and internally motivatedA mechanical or electromechanical background of experience capable of performing engineering / calculations of rotating equipment machine elementsProficiency in super precision rolling element bearing engineering and applicationExperience in bearing and mechanical component failure analysisGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be well organized and committed to excellenceA team player who is committed to customer service and adding valueSalary & BenefitsBase SalaryExpense ReimbursementAuto AllowanceHealth Insurance401(K) with Company MatchPaid Vacation & HolidaysWhy is This a Great OpportunityThis is a highly visible position that could quickly lead to a General Management position of the entire company.Established and Growing machine tool spindle repair company.Specific experience in machine tool service or machining/grinding is highly desiredSalary Type : Annual SalarySalary Min : $ 90000Salary Max : $ 110000Currency Type : USD
