Soil Production Workers Needed

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing Feed clean linens through moving belt folding machines Hand folds – manually fold small pieces of terry Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards Flat worker ironer, feeders folders, shakers, stackers and wrappers Tie out – laundry ties bundles of clean, dried linen and terry Sort through linen products, depositing linen products into respective containers Preventing accidents by working safely is the highest priority Tracking production Maintains a clean and safe work area Notifying Shift Manager of any mechanical or material issues Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Able to respond to basic verbal commands Effectively follow directions Organized Multi-lingual a plus

COMPUTER / TECHNICAL SKILLS / JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS

Laundry or housekeeping experience a plus Detail oriented

WORK HOURS

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift Able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs. May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels May be required to bend, reach and/or lift up to 25 lbs.
