Job Title: Bilingual Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description This role serves as the primary point of contact for home dialysis customers, delivering exceptional service and support to ensure a positive customer experience. The position primarily involves order placement, resolving customer inquiries, and managing prescriptions. Collaboration with internal teams is crucial to address customer needs while maintaining quality of service, efficiency, and achieving departmental goals. Responsibilities + Process customer orders via telephone accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. + Obtain and verify customer information, including quantities and usage of products on the customer's prescription. + Ensure all patient-related interactions adhere to HIPAA regulations. + Resolve customer questions, complaints, and service issues by identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions. + Investigate and track product shipments using the UPS website and coordinate with the transportation team. + Coordinate with internal departments to expedite shipments and release or alternate ship back-ordered items to ensure timely deliveries. + Process customer returns and request customer credit in accordance with company policies and procedures. + Collaborate with other departments such as Routing, Transportation, Sales, and Credit & Collections to resolve customer issues and provide a cohesive customer experience. + Meet established performance expectations related to quality, adherence, order accuracy, and service level standards. + Adapt to changing business needs and customer requirements. + Work remotely utilizing a reliable high-speed wired internet connection. + Support business operations by working a flexible schedule within the Customer Care operating hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm CST. + Remain available until all customer calls have been answered during closing shifts. Essential Skills + Pharmacy technician certification and active license from IL, WI, IN, or FL. + Active National PTCB or NHA pharmacy tech certification. + Bilingual in Spanish and English, both writing and speaking. + Minimum of 2-4 years of call center experience in a clinical setting. + Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and TEAMS. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong customer (patient) engagement skills. + Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma or equivalent GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. + Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and handle high call volumes, with the department handling approximately 2000 calls per day. + Experience with dialysis medications and patients is a plus. Work Environment This is a 100% remote role. Candidates must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace at home, with strong home Wi-Fi, as public spaces or open room settings are not allowed. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with availability required between 7:00am and 6:00pm CST. Employees will have a set schedule, likely between 9:00am-5:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm, with a requirement to complete all calls in queue before signing off for the day. Schedules are released two weeks in advance. Training is 100% remote, lasting approximately six weeks, with hours between 8:00am-4:00pm or 8:30am-4:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.15 - $21.63/hr.
