IT Support Specialist Company: Digital Moviola Location: Jackson, Mississippi, United States Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $29.00 - $55.00 USD per hour Job Overview Digital Moviola uses the power of incentives, data, and behavioural science to make people healthier and enhance and protect their lives. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Jackson, Mississippi. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and a commitment to providing outstanding technical support. As the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's technological infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently, empowering our team to focus on our core mission. Responsibilities

Provide first and second-line technical support to all employees, responding to issues in a timely and professional manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, and applications.
Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions across various platforms.
Log all service desk interactions and document resolutions within our knowledge base.
Assist with the setup and onboarding of new employees, including equipment provisioning and system access.
Support the maintenance of IT inventory and asset management records.
Collaborate with the wider IT team on projects and system upgrades.

Qualifications

Proven experience working as an IT Support Specialist, Helpdesk Technician, or in a similar technical support role.
Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows and macOS) and common office software, including Microsoft 365.
A solid understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to work independently and effectively prioritise tasks.
Relevant professional certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified, are highly desirable.
