Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in an active operating room environment with 14 ORs and a high-volume surgical caseload
• Support a 1:1 patient ratio in collaboration with RNs, PCTs, and trauma team membersprovide intraoperative assistance for procedures including orthopedic/spine, neuro, and transplant surgeries
• Participate in on-call requirements, including 1–2 call shifts per week from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Maintain flexibility for day and evening hours as needed by the unit
• Document and navigate patient information using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required prior to submission
• DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) Certification required prior to submission
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated orthopedic/joint experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
