A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BILINGUAL COUNTER SALES REP

As a bilingual Counter Sales Rep, you will build positive business relationships with customers. Assist customers through the sales cycle from material acquisition to order fulfillment, which includes walk-in and call-in customers. Organize, restock, and clean the showroom as required. Provide the following services to, customer, contractors, and builders:

• Everyday product pricing and provision of product samples and submittals.
• Generating orders in accounting software for counter-sales and deliveries.
• Communicate date and time of deliveries to customers after collaborating with operations staff and trouble-shooting and problem-solving customer complaints/issues.

You will be responsible for the cross-training of co-workers on showroom products. Verify that all outgoing products match the invoice and completing showroom inventory counts as required. Manage showroom products everyday inventory levels and order material based on standard inventory levels. Collaborate with the Sales team to investigate and pursue new projects and potential customers in central Iowa who meet the Kinzler core values. Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors. Primary contact for incoming phone calls.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• MUST be fluent in speaking Spanish and English.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• General knowledge of all products that Kinzler distributes or installs.
• Self-motivated and goal oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possesses basic computer skills with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn accounting software.
• Ability to perform basic math skills and be detailed oriented.
• Construction experience helpful but not required.
• Use technology to communicate with team members and customers.

WORK SCHEDULE
