Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care)

Location: Weaverville, CA

Job Type : Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Practice Setting: Outpatient Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.

• Obtain detailed medical histories and develop evidence-based treatment plans.

• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

• Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within the California Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.

• Provide preventive care services, including:

  • Annual wellness examinations

  • Immunizations

  • Health screenings

Qualifications & Experience

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certification.

• Minimum 1-2 years of outpatient primary care experience required.

• Experience in rural health or community health is preferred.

• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient education skills.

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Current California Nurse Practitioner License.

• National Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANCC or AANP).

• California Furnishing Number.

• Active DEA Registration.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.

• Eligible for Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Partnership HealthPlan credentialing.
